Ms. Gamez has been educating students in the Bay Area for the past 13 years. She has taught a range of different grade levels, and has been active in developing science curriculum. She led efforts to develop several “teaching gardens” throughout the East Bay, promoting hands-on science, outdoor education, and garden ecology within schools. Ms. Gamez has also worked on community outreach and education throughout the Livermore-Amador Valley and provides water science education for the Livermore-Amador Valley for Zone 7 Water Agency.
RECENT REPRESENTATIVE ASSIGNMENTS:
For Zone 7 Water Agency Ms. Gamez helped develop and teach water science lessons in over 25 schools in the Zone 7 Service area, including Pleasanton, Livermore, and Dublin.
She has provided educational demonstrations and community outreach for Pleasanton Unified School District Earth Fair, Dublin Day on the Glen, Alameda County Spring and Fall Home and Garden Shows, and the Livermore Wine Festival.
